This may be the most effective way to force an endless battle.

Ideally, it'll work like this:
>Durant gives something Truant and then dies
>Send in Sableye. This is the most important turn - if they switch out here then it's ruined. If they stay in they'll loaf around because of truant. You use Mean Look so they can't switch out anymore. Next turn you Trick a Leppa Berry on to them and die (or, if you really want to keep Sableye around, use Protect as it attacks and Trick as it loafs around)
>Send in Gothitelle. From here on out, so long as you play it right, it'll be an endless battle. Trick them so that they obtain your item and you get the beloved Leppa berry. Note that they have Truant and cannot switch. On the turns that they attack, use Protect. When they run out of PP and need to struggle, they won't be able to hit you when you Protect, and thus they won't be able to hurt themselves in recoil and kill themselves.
>Go back and forth between Protecting on the turns they attack and Recycling on the turns that they loaf around
Have fun, Showderp!
