I wasn't sucked in by the fad at first, but one day my friend was showing me his guide book and I saw a picture of Cubone. I fell in love with the little guy instantly - it's still my favourite 'mon to this day - and that's where my interest began. Some other friends gave me my first cards, got into the anime (started at the Sabrina three-parter), I got 'Yellow' for Xmas, and the rest is history.
