I don't know, something felt off about the way this chapter ended, even though it was packed with feels. I think it was the last scene that did it, not the one with Alice and Calem, but the one with Alice and Chople.
I think it was how it was executed. Like it was played straight but there were still some odd undertones in it, like how Chople suddenly got better without any real explanation, how his parents don't already have the money for that funeral, that whole pose scene and how Chople talked shit to Torchic, and how Calem ended up cheering her up. It felt like something big was being implied there but I don't know what.
