>>47644568Since Pixeldevs learned how to code from MIT's Scratch, they failed to properly add a mechanic as simple as "make pokemon big", so here are some things to know. Greentext means it differs from the actual SWSH mechanics.
Standard Dynamax mechanics work: You gain 50% bonus HP + 5% more per Dynamax level up to 100% bonus HP at Dynamax Level 10, increased with candies. Your moves are replaced with Max Moves which create terrain, cause weather, lower both opponents' stats or increase both allies' stats. Status Moves become Max Guard which block almost all moves, including Max Moves.
>Figy berry restores 12.5% of Dynamax HP, when it should be 12.5% of Non-Dynamax HP (even still, Figy berries should be restoring 1/3 HP as of Gen VIII)Super Fang does damage equal to 50% of non-Dynamax HP
>Fake Out damages and flinchesLow Kick fails
>Heavy Slam works and does damage, most likely based on non-Dynamax weight difference>OHKO moves (Sheer Cold at least) works and will OHKO the Dynamax PokemonRoar and Whirlwind fails. Dragon Tail and Circle Throw do damage to the Dynamax Pokemon, but do not switch it out. Eject Button switches the Dynamax Pokemon when attacked.
>Red Card phases out the Dynamax Pokemon. If using Parting Shot on a Dynamax Pokemon with Magic Bounce, the Parting Shot is reflected and the Dynamax Pokemon switches out.
>HOWEVER, because of how turn order apparently works in Pixelmon, the Pokemon that was forcibly switched out still uses the attack that it was selected to do, regardless of Dynamax.>>For example, Hatterene will use Mystical Fire on the enemy Ferrothorn. if an Incineroar uses Parting Shot on Hatterene with Magic Bounce, Hatterene will switch out to another Pokemon of her trainer's choice. However, Hatterene will still use Mystical Fire on Ferrothorn despite not being on the field anymore. The same can be said for Max Flare.Skill Swap and Entrainment fail; Wandering Spirt should also fail, but I don't have a Runerigus.
