Tyrantrum's Earthquake ravages both Hexcalibur and Furfrou for almost all of their worth. By this point it's beginning to become more and more clear that priority is literally the only thing that might be able to take him out of the game.
Hexcalibur's blades momentarily separate from the severity of the damage, "IT SHALL TAKE MORE THAN EARTHQUAKE TO DO THE GREAT AND ALMIGHTY HEXCALIBUR IN!"
You should never underestimate those new and improved defenses, Hexcalibur can endure more and more hits because of them.
"Bouaf-ouaf ouaf! OooOOOOAUFF!"
"Furfrou? What are you--?!"
"BOOOOUAFFF!"
Without being issued a move, Furfrou gets up and runs with what little mettle he has left at the fossli. Double Cotton Guards are truly a beautiful thing.
The doge charges at the t-rex with a lashed-out tongue. He uses what is arguably his most powerful attack--Return. A Return souped up in power by the sincere affection he has for Serena.
He doesn't even care that Tyrantrum resists such an attack either. It's the power of love, bitch. Resistances don't matter.
"Booooooouuuua......BOOOOAF!"
"Tyrantrum, Dragon Claw! Perfect opportunity is opening right up!"
"Tyyrant!"
The sportsman does not lie. Bells chime as Furfrou's skull cracks in an impact with Tyrantrum. What would have been a full power attack is chopped in half, and gives Tyrantrum an opening to finish this dance.
He takes it with open arms.
"TRUM!"
>A critical hit!A single claw swipe causes Furfrou to whimper and get smacked back down to the ground.
>Sylveon's Wish came true!>Tyrantrum recovered health! And in the end, it's almost as if Furfrou didn't even do anything. It's been a long while since you first encountered him in the basement of that spooky mansion in those spooky woods, and he's still the same dumb doge from those times.
