Upon entry, there is a bridge leading across water to the mouth of a downwardly descending cave. The cave's interior is the true gym: a grid-like maze of square, torchlit rooms connected by pitch-black tunnels. Being that it's underwater, the cave has many puddles and strange plantlife growing from the walls.

>Opening quote
It's a thrill, isn't it? To plunge into the murky depths of the sea, to explore its vast, subterranean caverns...always going deeper and deeper! The thrill of treasure hunting...its only equal is the thrill of battle, would't you agree? Many would think it strange for a Diver to specialize in Rock-type, but that may be true. But my Rock-type Pokemon have been with me for years, and have survived the darkest abysses of the ocean and all its dangers - I doubt they shall fall to you!
>Victory Quote
Couldn't handle the pressure, eh?
>Losing Quote
Losing air! Gotta resurface!...So! You managed to beat my Rock-types after all! I suppose they make better diving partners than battlers! Hahaha! Regardless, I can only congratulate you. Actually, I can do more. Take this TM. That TM contains Rock Polish, which doubles the speed of any Pokemon that uses it. In diving and battling, it is important to mind your speed. Rock-types can be slow, but that move will let them run circles around opponents!
