They fucked it all up because all of the grass types besides Tangela were part poison and therefore weak to psychic. They did it with the 3 ghost types too, even though ghost is supposed to destroy psychic types.
EVERY single rock type was also part ground, enjoying a nice 4x weakness to a couple types
