princess-like.In Vulpix's case it's not too extreme, and the slight change that was added only adds to her already feminine appearance. I do hate the big-headed trend too though, but I just really don't think Vulpix is a good example.
Pikachu is the biggest example of course, but the magnitude at which they changed his design still really fucking infuriates my unbridled autistic rage. When he was more fat and spiky he looked more masculine cool and feminine cute at the same time, which was the reason they chose him as the mascot in the first place over Clefairy.
