>>53308422>Why though? Why does it need to be "difficult"?It doesn't need to be "difficult", you fucking brown noser, it just needs to not break in half by doing basic gameplay shit. I'm not asking for the game to throw fully EV'd teams of 6 with held items and comp strats, I just don't want to shoot past the levels of every NPC in the game when all I'm doing is just catching fucking Pokemon.
The worst thing is this isn't even a tough thing to implement, just let us turn off EXP all and most of the issues go away instantly, but we can't even have that for some fucking reason. Shit, we can't even turn on Set mode, either. I don't understand why anyone would defend us losing choices in a game who's primary strength is having the ability to choose your own party members and yet you fucking people crawl out of the cracks to say something is wrong with us for daring to want to have some modicum of control over a single player experience.
Yes, Pokemon is easy, no one has ever said it wasn't, but in the past the only way to get as super overleveled as you do in SV is if you intentionally grind like hell, or only train a single Pokemon, being this overleveled is NOT fun. Battles turn into a waste of time when you're lv. 40 and your opponent is lv. 23.
This might sound insane to someone like you, who does nothing but eat corporate boot along side your Pokemon sugar bomb cereal every day, but some people enjoy when the game pushes back a little bit, even if it's not enough to topple them over, having a few of your team members KO'd with you on the back foot can be (get read for this one) kinda fun!
The player shouldn't need to have a rotating team of over 15 fucking Pokemon just so he doesn't fly past the rest of the game, there's literally no defending that-well I should say no SANE person would defend it, I know you'll find some way to do it anyway-all people are asking for is one or two options in the fucking menu to have more fun, what the FUCK is wrong with that?
