Do folks largely still not understand these guys? The point is that salt is structured in very neat cube shapes, so all 3 mons are based on famous pixel stuff. Old Mario sprite, Minecraft (which is made of cubes), and the last one has Donkey Kong's head as a nod to the original arcade game.
