In all honesty I hate Smogon. Their ranking makes no sense, because it can be influenced by how cool or ugly a pokemon looks. It's just popularity, nothing more. It's inherently flawed, that said I will concede things like aesthetics don't seem to effect it much, but they do to a degree.
All that aside? Even if I don't agree with smogons bans, tiers, or anything else they do. I still play by them so as not to ruin the game for other people. I tried to make my bros as competitive as possible by their standards, and if someone goes by or ignores Smogons rules I don't care. I won't break them however because that would make me a faggot. I make sure to inform them I don't play by smogons rules, but still obey them out of the interest of sportsmanship, and that my team is OU by their standards. Pic related, my "OU" team.
