I forgot how comfy the school setting is. You spend enough time here to get attached to it, and it makes it super nostalgic when you reunite with your old school friends later on. IIRC there's even a part where you revisit the school and teach the new generation of Ranger students. Very cool
I don't recall ever getting attached to a location in the main games like this, they just kinda turf you out of your empty 'home' town in the first few minutes and you never return.
