The forest her hometown resides is a nature reserve, and her most infamous accomplishment was establishing it as such. Decades ago, Anna and other activist petitioned against the clearing of the forest on account of the globally protected species nesting there. Hornbeam, who’s research documented the area, threatened to expose the entire fucking Apociran government for its indifference in breaking international law to the U.N. (For context, Apocial has always been in hot water with the rest of the world). The Gov. gave into her demands and now the area is protected. Hornbeam’s is personality is joyful and sly, but she doesn’t fuck around when she’s serious.
