God all the spergs who flipped their shit and still do at the new Evolutions (mostly the Kanto ones) or the game's lack of Fire types.
Then Black and White's reception, "reee new Pokemon are Kanto rehashes, can't use anything outside OF the new mons".
Then each of those gens got games that addressed their complaints (for the most part) and more. Meanwhile, Gen 6 was basically cut short and USUM never addressed some of SM's big problems (Too much fucking Lillie, cutscenes and Kanto-wankery).
If we had actually seen Pokemon Z or if USUM had a scene skip button, maybe some Alolan variants that weren't just Kanto Pokemon
and maybe if the new Pokemon of the region weren't either so gimmicky or glacier slow then maybe they wouldn't be bashed so hard here.
