But I enjoy almost everything I play regardless. I enjoyed Aquaman on Xbox, and I can say with confidence that's generally considered a terrible game. It's difficult to find a game I wouldn't derive some enjoyment from.
With Pokemon however, the most important thing to me is the Pokemon themselves, as there's not really much that this series does better overall than any other JRPG series.
Now what does SnS do? It cuts out 2/3rds of the Pokemon themselves and delivers the same game aside from that. I'm sure the game is fine, but because it removes the major reason I play these games, it's by default the worst Pokemon games to come out thus far and is not worth supporting with a purchase.
Going to just replay the Ecco the Dolphin series instead.
