I like how mewtwo is briefly alluded to in the abandoned mansion, but you don't see him until the post game if you go fucking around in the cerulean cave. Just a single line about mewtwo being "too powerful" made him sound so ominous, and finally finding him was the tightest shit as a kid. You can say "hurr durr nostalgia" all you want, but I'll never forget all the fucking hype around him, especially back when the first movie came out. As
