Shit that stops you from playing the game every 10 steps while you're just sitting there watching glorified cutscenes. There's little reason to even care about the characters because your character is a voiceless being that just stares at them until they're done talking. At least the Gen 1 and 2 games and their remakes just let you play the damn game with only a few interruptions.
