It doesn't make sense for them to just hand you over a Pokemon, but if you each gave each other a special Pokemon to remind each yourselves of each other when you aren't around that would be cute. It's also a nice exchange of love like promise rings.
The problem I'm having is trying to think of a way that wouldn't force the player to give up a Pokemon they care about, but also wouldn't have them giving the poor person a shitty level 2 rat.

Really love this idea. A unique on visually would be nice, though I'd still want the IV boost or something to encourage use.
