Now since we know that Necrozma doesn't exclusively eat the light of the Cosmog line (as it did eat the light of Ultra Megalopolis and tried to eat the light of Alola, along with showing an interest in eating Z-crystal light) would it be possible that Necrozma would try to eat the light of other Pokémon that produce light? Now I would imagine in most cases this would be fatal for the target, but still do you think it is feasible? Additionally could Necrozma turn matter into light and would it, if desperate enough, do such to survive, even at the expense of others?

I keep seeing people want a BotW-like world but I feel like that would just stretch out a lot of the content and make the world feel sparse and bigger than it needs to be.

I'm thinking in more terms of Odyssey exploration vs BotW exploration. I feel like the former is more satisfying by consuming less time to get to places because of it feeling more compact, while also encouraging you to think more outside the box and rewarding you for doing so.

Maybe a hybrid of their design philosophies would work best for pokemon? What do you think?

This raises the obvious questions: what features have they beta tested in SM? This thread is for any and all speculations about future game mechanics. Remember that the next generation will be on Switch so GF can possibly include much bigger things than before.

/vp/ I have a question for you, how come when people lampoon Pokemon or talk about how Pokemon needs to 'change', they bring up fangames as if they're the herald of what Pokemon should be when for the most part they're the same thing? Now if you don't like Pokemon or think that there should be changes to it, that's fine, the issue I have is with them bringing up fangames that again, are mechanically the same as the change GF should do.

Also as a sidenote I notice this sort of comparison doesn't happen here on /vp/.
