When I was a little kid, I wanted to become a doctor, but secretly for the express purpose of creating deadly diseases that could kill large swathes of people in remote areas of the world without anyone ever knowing where the illnesses came from. I don't plan on doing that now, obviously. However, since I'm undergoing training as a virology research assistant, the kid me's dream could very well become a reality if I ever decided to change my mind in the distant future.
