It's more entertaining to explore how living in the outside with your pokemon would change you, how you adapt to their mannerisms, and they adapt to yours, how things that to a human would be wierd or taboo would be perfectly fine to a pokemon, and viceversa. To explore the nieches of pokemon /human relations and mentality, and where the line between both can get muddy or blatantly clear, that's what I'm after
If you're gonna give pokemon speech and human inteligence without even a hint of nuance to their psicology, then you're better going full rpg, making everyone a magical person, and fucking off to never come back to pokemon ever again
