>>38217004It's insufferable, easily the worst thing to have come out of the game in the entire Sun & Moon block and arguably about as bad as early XY.
Like honestly, I get they leave some things "intentionally broken" like when they made original Pokemon Catcher in Emerging Powers to help the kids win against more experienced players but this is just absurd. I understand the game is made primarily for the Japanese audience who don't care about balance and just want ways to effortlessly beat all their friends at the game but when you're facing the same deck roughly 70% of the time you begin resenting not only whoever thought this was a good idea, but the ones openly getting carried by it.
