Can't just wave a magic wand and Game Freak treat Pokémon differently to how everyone else treats their IP's, meaning you need to have patience to see what they have when they're ready to start talking about it (notice no new game reveal has leaked outside trademarking, while we got LGPE in April of its launch year, much less Khu only getting info about DLC after Legends would have been sent gold, indicating they didn't talk about DLC until finishing up with Legends, such as that DLC was).
>>49893093I'm pretty convinced everything missing here (and compatriots, where applicable eg the Hisuian starters alongside their region-correct flavours) will appear in Gen IX, with the Alolans, Hoenn and Sinnohian starters giving way too. We're on a rotation and rule of thumb seems to be those that appear in this Gen may not all appear in next Gen but those that miss out will likely get afforded a place in the Gen's games.
