Singles Pokemon is fun because it's easy to grasp all the possible options your opponent has (regardless if some would be more optimal), both from a casual and competitive standpoint. Easy for casuals to click SE move, not too many options for a comp player to consider their opponent might make and roll the dice against their prediction.
