That is to say: it's the reason why anytime Bisharp shows up in media it's from the front viewing position. I think it's the reason Bisharp is never given a particularly big roll in anything is to avoid the potential dangers of having to draw it from behind as time goes on. The games can't hide that shit, so it's just there. But the manga and anime artists don't want to touch it if they can help it. And unlike Medicham where you can maybe fudge it a little bit to look like a pair of pants from some angles, Bisharp can never not have anything but a thong there. Because of it's puffy pants and weird black leotard.
Pic related is the only instance I could find of Bisharp ever appearing from behind in any official anime or manga.
