>>29611788It's sad, because it's technically well put together, and until the end of the first league (where most pokemon games would end their main story) it only ever missteps a few times. By Johto however it completely loses the plot and by Rankor it's just a carwreck.
It's sad, because it did a lot of things I like, 10 pokeballs off the bat, EXP share off the bat, good pacing and understanding of providing mons in the area for facing gyms (up to the final gym, which has Kirila in the caves all prepped for Gardevoir and the town has an EV training building.)
Like that's a solid region. And if the hack had concluded there, I would be happy with my 500 hour playtime.
