I love the idea of Dahlia teasing Thorton playfully and purposely trying to fluster him and push his buttons, and I could see the same kind of behavior in the bedroom. Either she's the more dominant one simply because she has more experience, or I could see her topping from the bottom until Thorton gets into it enough to take charge.
I feel like I should also note that I don't see Thorton as a little kid...Just short.
