Resposting, don't respond to this if you did before. Currently working on other parts of this survey.
Regarding the ability reconciliation survey:
> I messed up, gigaard/terratetra will be affected by the "What should we do with the secondary abilities that were assigned in error" question (11), with sturdy being the in question ability (it should have solid rock & sturdy, not gluttony & sturdy)
>The old surveyor messed up, shibalbat shouldn't have gotten eventide & psychout, it should have gotten eventide & pressure; dreamdery should have gotten psychout. As such, shibalbat (pressure), is affected by question 11 as well
Also, I have an important question:
I explained before that the reason so little mons were affected by question 11 was that:
> I didn't include any mons that would have custom abilities affected..
>...nor did I include mons that had custom abilities given to them to ensure each custom ability was assigned to at least 2 lines
> I didn't include any mons whose abilities were the same as what they were before the faulty surveys
I excluded the former 2 groups because of how much of a massive pain it would be to ensure that custom abilities, if removed, were re-distributed to other mons, without fucking THOSE mons up. I excluded the last group because I was thinking that if they were like that to begin with, then obviously that was what people wanted.
However, some people have brought up issues with me doing that, so:
- Should I ask in the survey if I should also go through mons that had the same abilities before the survey as after?
- Should I include mons that had customs affected or were given customs just so the customs would be assigned to at least 2 lines each?
- Should customs be forced to be given to at least 2 lines so they are distinct from signatures, or should we no bother to ensure that, and if it ends up that way, then that's how it is?
- Does anybody care that nearly 75% of our mons have 2 abilities, when less then 50% of GF mon do?
