>>40452777First of all nice lucky trips OP. Second just came here to say: childhood restored. I grew up watching Kanto and Jotho and a bit of Hoenn as a kid. This is the first time since then that I've been invested in the pokemon anime again. I admit I haven't kept up with every episode this season, but the feel good slice of life setting and Ash actually acting (and looking) like a 10 year old kid left a good impression on me. Nothing too try hard and angsty, just a kid going on adventures with his friends meeting all kinds of cool creatures.
And as icing on the cake. Ash actually won a league. He fucking did it.
