From what I saw, Battle Maison ain't cheating. Sure, it throws at you tons of pokemon with hax moves, but if ability has low chance of happening, and you toss it at the player 30+ times, the chances that you'll get flinched/frozen/attracted/whatever and then killed gets higher.
If you really want to see how many times the 10% items work, just lead with Frisk pokemon. You'll see tons of Focus Bands or Quick Claws that you'd normally never notice because they just wouldn't fire off.
You OHKO 10 pokemon in a row, then one survives due to Focus Band and OHKOs you right back, that's not OMGHAX, that's just RNG in action.
As for repeated parahax, I have managed to land repeated paraflinch to save my life in Battle Maison, I don't see why the opponent shouldn't be able to. Again, it's just down to RNG.
