I see some pretty incredible art get posted but it rarely gets more than a handful of replies, compared to when I was browsing the drawthreads some years back and a good delivery would get lots of replies. It kind of killed the motivation for most to draw I feel, even if the "thank you this is incredible!" posts are still there it feels like most of it gets largely ignored because people just want to post requests for pokegirl #2398923 getting their back blown out by Machamp. Even those deliveries feel like they tend to get kind of ignored. Coomers were always a thing, but it's gotten especially terrible these days.
I also don't really like posting my stuff because I don't like being recognized. It's a large part of the reason I don't participate in OC threads, I don't want to be spotted even though it's not really a secret among people who know me that I use 4chan (hell, a lot of the people I've known for years met me through 4chan). I also don't want degenerates to get their hands on my OCs because of the shitshows that I had to witness with a bunch of OCs from the older OC threads that are hopefully dead for good.
Whenever I do post my art anywhere, I intentionally make it look like someone else could have drawn it. The actual stuff I draw is nothing like pic related.
