This beautiful Pokémon makes me so happy. I love its adorable cry. I love how its singing theme references the notion that marine mammals like sea lions and dugongs inspired the mythology of sirens and mermaids, which is genuinely one of the most organic and inspired ideas for a starter not only in recent gens but in Pokémon generally, fitting naturally with the animal it's based on. I love how it combines the humanoid style of starters since Gen VI with a somewhat more bestial and non-bipedal appearance, so I feel like I'm getting the best of both worlds. I love Primarina!
