How many of you started playing pkmn in gen III or later and then went back and played gen I or II games? What did you think of them? I mean besides the obvious , specific critiques , e.g. psychic imbalance, level curve, etc. I mean like the general feel, tone, and such.
Does it fill you with child-like wonder and awe, giddiness even? Or does it just feel limp? Like some stripped, poor-man's version of a game that means more to you?
