The first E4 member is Pryce, who tells us he was promoted for his years of being a Gym Leader. Pryce has Cloyster/Piloswine/Dewgong/Lapras and I realize I don't have anything on my team to counter Ice-types (who would've thought with my Grass-type and two Flying-types).
Koga still has his spot as the second. He uses Vileplume/Fortress/Venemoth/Crobat/Weezing, and his carryovers from GSC retain their levels. I was concerned about a huge level jump given a warning by Mauro but it's been similar enough to GSC.
Bruno also retains his spot, with Hitmontop/Hitmonchan/Hitmonlee/Ursaring/Steelix, Ursaring as the highest at Lv. 46 (Freako must like Ursaring; to be fair if I ever made a hack I'd probably include my favorites on a few teams myself).
Karen also retains her spot. I noticed Pokémon Christmas also replaced Will but kept the others; is Will just not liked? I mean I prefer Lorelei but I think Will is a good guy, I like him.
Karen has Umbreon/Haunter/Gengar/Tyranitar/Houndoom. Her pre-battle dialogue is noticeably slightly edgier relative to her GSC dialogue, though she still thanks me for battling her with my favorites
which isn't entirely true; I saw my favorite on a route but didn't get it because it's a shitmon that isn't even viable in-game.;_;Champion is next.
