Stored power lacks the raw damage and stuns that Psyshock/beam has and because stored is a sure shot it is easy to use and also means players do not have enough skill to aim with range mons and if they can't aim with the joycon, said players should only play melee mons.
But stored power is good for certain counters & I specifically picked it to fuck over Sableye because Stored power can still hit when its trying to turn invisible.
Normally I would have played psyshock and psybeam and with Trev/T-tar on the enemy team I would have gone psyshock/psybeam.
However, my hated for Sableye refused to let me not pick stored power to fuck it over.
