Gen 7 had the best characters, a fairly passable story(only because Lillie’s growth is very well done and compelling, even if Lusamine’s motivations are weak), Ultra Space is neat, I like that Team Skull is a false flag that aren’t the primary villains, and had top tier waifus. Gen 7’s problems are it could’ve done stuff better, and the Island Challenge didn’t feel unique at all. I also love Totem Pokémon as a concept where you can make unnaturally powerful enemies that unlike Legendary Pokémon can’t be captured.
