Long time since I posted an update. That anon who's playing every single game is going to surpass me at this pace, even though I'm only playing one game for each region.
Had some successes, some struggles, especially against gym leaders and team flare. Fuck, they're difficult. From around the mid-point storyline enemies are basically all perfect IV, EV trained, competitive moveset pokemon. Not that I'm complaining, that's why I'm playing these.
I only have 1 gym left before E4. However, similarly to how I considered Red battle the last battle in Sacred Gold, I will have to defeat AZ with whatever I have left after E4 (though XY won't have 2 champions teams, since he's right after the league).
Things are getting clear for me at this point - the current squad will go against Wulfric and for E4 I'll go with:
>Charizard Y>Black Sludge Chlorophyll Venusaur>Tyrantrum>ScizorAnd two out of the rest pokemon.
If I don't release Ludicolo after Wulfric he might be useful setting up rain to support Scizor, especially since the core of my team works with the sun, on the other hand, Krookodile has Moxie, and Yveltal has excellent stats, which might be needed.
Also, fuck this challenge is fun. I never played half of the mons I used this time. In Y alone I used Tyrantrum, Flogress, Milotic, Drifblim, Forretress, Klefki, Sunflora's first stage, Bibracle, Durant, Chattot, Crustle, Basculin, Trevenant, Chandelure, and Ariados - all of which I either never used or used long ago/not much.
