>Thoughts on gen 6+I hate the fucking EXP share, I hate gimmicks, especially Megas, I hate the casualization, I hate the new "look" the games have been going for, I EVEN hate perfectly good stuff like player customization and the larger dex sizes since they dilute the identity of the games. I am truly a crotchety bastard in a lot of ways when it comes to my feelings about these games.
BUT I kinda enjoyed my time playing basically all of them except LGPE, SwSh, and BDSP (Didn't even play BDSP).
Especially PLA and SV. I don't know man, the formula works, and they do have some redeeming qualities that I can enjoy. I hate that the newer games are stuck appealing to ultra casuals though, open world was cool for novelty but what I REALLY want is a Pokemon game that finally embraces its RPG status and leans MORE heavily into the stuff they've basically been phasing out. Very mixed feelings overall. 3/10 should've been more like RSE
