>>53843989Well it's not really a rooster in the generic sense. Shamo chickens are their own thing for the most part and they do lack the rooster mohawk. they are very tall and svelte. Combusken also had very large thighs, so maybe that was a way to connect the two
They also probably wanted the design to have some elegance to it just in case any girls who started with Torchic still wanted a pretty Pokemon
