Mine was a shiny Spearow. Caught it. Later traded it with an NPC for the Farfetch'd because I didn't care and couldn't be bothered to catch a regular Spearow. It was cool finding a shiny for the first time time, but can't understand why people waste hours hunting for these things. Not a rush to me.
