>>48711052Just a small update. Finally rounded out the gang, kind of just rushed to Fuchsia without battling anyone along the way so I could get Paras and Ditto. I will say that Estelle was impeccable at dealing with both Snorlaxes, and while I can’t believe I’m saying this, her defensive role on the team has been much needed. Really changes my perception of Onix.
Not sure if there’s a role for Puddy on the team. Ditto probably could have some cool strats, but I’m so dissuaded from trying to train it I’m just going to wait and see.
>Basement Giovanni Onix and Rhyhorn were trivial from Water Pulse. Khangaskhan took some switching around thanks to Sing missing. I bounced between George, then to Estelle, then finally to Jerry to do the finishing blows with Brick Break. Ended up being okay.
>Tower RivalTrivial thanks to fighting him this late. George and Kramer did the work. Shockwave dealt with Pidgeotto and Gyarados, while Wing Attack + Bite dealt with the rest. Honestly the two of them were the MVPs for most of the Pokemon tower, for obvious reasons.
Going to work on getting through Silph Co. now and then see where I’m at level wise after.
>>48711294Good shit anon, congrats. You knew Raticate was strong going in, but yeah, sounds like Bertrand really carried you. Would have been cool to see more Castform but it was probably just happy to be along for the ride.
>>48711910Happy to see Matoya be a champ, shame on the starters though. Sucks to loose two Ivysaurs like that. I wouldn't count Moltres out either, it still has its monster special Gen 1.
>>48713487Good luck! Monotype runs are always a blast.
