I'm not 100% sure why, but its always been special to me since i chose it as my favorite back when gen 2 was new, then slowly found out nobody else liked it. so i've only grown to like it more.
also a fun october story, when i was 8, my dad carved pumpkins for halloween for me and my siblings. I just got this farfetchd card and was super happy about it since farfetchd was my favorite pokemon, so my dad carved me a farfetchd pumpkin based on this card.
I still have the same card within arms reach of me right now on my computer desk.
