>JohtoEthan definitely in GSC universe. Lyra has some support in HGSS though, since mom is redesigned to look more like Lyra, compared to the GSC one who mimics Ethan's hair fringe. However, since GS was designed with just a boy protagonist in mind, it's probably still Ethan.
>HoennBrendan. Black hair like Norman, and his house layout is on the left while May's is on the right to mimic Red and Blue's homes. Meanwhile May has light brown hair like the generic NPC mom and Birch. On a minor note, the sprite for the running shoes manual in E works in Brendan's house, but is off in May's because it uses a different palette, clearly an afterthought.

>UnovaHilbert/Rosa. Certain NPCs show up for the opposite sex in BW2.
