>>54681794This. I'm enjoying it, just beat the Rocket Goldenrod segment. His fanfic ending was kinda cringe but the game itself has been great. It's not kaizo level difficulty but it's difficult enough to respect you as a gamer. Pokemon selection feels nice without overdoing the options you have, and overall it still feels familiar with the spec/phys still being move based, single use TMs making you think twice about who to use it on, and no new evolutions.
This is definitely a situation of separating the creator from their work. I've never seen these dudes videos, I don't plan on watching them either. I hate clickbait, but the hack itself is fun and that's all that really matters. It's not a "perfect" version of Crystal, just a different take on it that's familiar but remixed just enough to feel more rewarding.
