For me:
+It's very fun overall.
+Cute mons slaying each other; great animations and skins.
+5-10 min matches mean that if your game goes very bad you aren't stuck in it for too long.
-Strong comeback mechanics mean that sometimes you can stomp all game and then lose.
-P2W. New mons are often overpowered as fuck while they aren't accessible for free players and then get nerfed.
-Skins are more expensive than most people would like, especially if you buy the premium currency directly. Bearable if you use the subscription.
-If you're doing very well and playing solo, matchmaking will often "balance" you by giving you 4 literal children to carry.
