Looking at the progression of the art in the dropbox it's gone from Burning's original sketch to the linework used in the current Sugi which shows the orange around that arm as being part of the poncho / cloak / whatever. Is there old art that shows him without the poncho?
Like I mentioned last thread, it's possible the linework misinterpreted parts of the original sketch like that section by the arm and possibly the collar. I'm not sure where to go with that because I assume the current design was voted on, so I just followed the way it was done in the current Sugi.
>>19785836Surprisingly there aren't any official Sugi-style goggle references that I could find (might've missed some, though, so if anyone knows of one that'd be a huge help) so I had to refer to the glasses of Blaine, Argenta, and Hayley for the highlights, shadows, etc.
I think in this case the most that'd be visible would be the other strap through the part of the lens that overlaps the edge of his hat, like in this example. But to me it looks a little weird so I prefer the version that excludes it.
