Anyone else terrified about the future of AI? It can already copy and generate voices, images, fucking greentexts, and now it can fucking write stories as well. It will only get better over time—hell, it's a little clunky now but in 10 year's time? It's going to be damn near perfect. How long until we become completely obsolete?I know shit like the pop industry making souless automated music is a meme, but what happens when they perfect the machine, and not only is entertainment automated, but better than what we ourselves can make? Movies, TV shows, novels, think about it. Art isn't so much creation as it is synthesis—and how the hell can we compete with a machine hooked to the internet, processing millions upon millions of pieces of information a second? It's unironically over.
