this is very basic wrestling booking
when there is a one sided squash match it is usually booked for a reason (either time constraints or to show how good someone is)
you can then use the fact of someone's victories being mostly squashes to play into your storylines (can the guy on the squash streak still hang when he doesn't win quickly? will he tire out in a long match)
if you make every single match a drawn out series where both workers get all their shit in, you burn out crowds and end up killing your industry much like how modern wrestling has killed itself by having every match feature 2 flippy shitters who go to the limit every single time, overexposing them and letting the audience get bored
