>What's new?I was aiming for monthly updates at a minimum when I posted Alpha 1.0 and that's just not happening. It's not that progress isn't being made, it's that the several dozen scenes I've written in the past month STILL don't have a complete ending to them.
Alpha 1.0 launched with only the "bad" ending enabled. For 1.1 through 1.2 I've been working on both the "good" and the "perfect" endings, which at this point are pretty much done. The problem is that both of those are supposed to be followed by either a sex scene, a lengthy epilogue, or both, and I spent so much god damn time writing the half dozen different ways the "good" and "perfect" routes could go that I haven't written anything past them. So if I released 1.2 right now, you could get the good and/or perfect endings and then the game would just abruptly stop. So like... should I even release 1.2 in that state, or should I wait until I have something more polished for the epilogue and/or sex scene(s)?
>does it have sex yet that's all I care aboutThere's the other problem, I still don't have art for lewd scenes. I can pay an artist but I have no idea where to begin to look for one. I've never commissioned art for anything before. I could write a sex scene with no images to go with them, but would anyone want that? It's called a Visual novel for a reason.
