>>48709024I want something with the art direction of OP but done top-down style. I want a big focus on the game feeling like a wild area with seamless blended in towns, but I don't want wild mons walking around everywhere - I'm cool with tall grass and random encounters. I want it to be MMO focused with a main campaign and then tons of side quests, with scaling levels and sequence breaking built in. I don't want all the mons at once, I want it to feel like Gen 3 or 5 did where you are limited and more mons show up as part of expansion passes.
I guess what I really want is them to build Pokemon into a platform where they focus on making the main game solid and that instead of producing more games to release one every year, they just keep giving us updates as free patches or season passes or whatever. I'd be very content with that. Just make a game that feels as dedicated, fresh and fun as RSE, HGSS or BW/2 did and then just build on that skeleton. Stop putting out half-assed games every year and actually create a scaffolded framework where they can just keep pumping out new creatures, adding new areas, coming up with new battle features without having to focus on developing an entire new game all the time.
